
Dew J. Rosado Torres, MS. Exectuvie Director/CEO
We are pleased to announce that HART United’s Board of Directors has appointed Dew Rosado Torres as our next Executive Director, who began in March 2025!
Dew brings over 20 years of experience in the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) field. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer at MARC Community Resources in Middletown, overseeing daily operations across residential, day, and employment services. His career began as a direct care professional, and he steadily advanced through leadership roles, including House Manager, Director, and Senior Director—demonstrating a deep commitment to service and excellence at every level.
Dew is recognized for his expertise in DDS compliance, operational efficiency, quality assurance, and the delivery of individualized, person-centered programming. He is well-versed in training systems and technologies such as Therap, and is a strong advocate for staff development and continuous improvement.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s in Human Services from Post University. Dew has also earned multiple professional certifications, including PMT Instructor, Dementia Instructor, and DDS Abuse and Neglect Investigator, among others.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Dew is deeply engaged in community service and serves as Board President of the FFXP Foundation, which provides scholarships to underserved youth in Greater Waterbury.
Following a thorough and thoughtful selection process, our Board was unanimously impressed by Dew’s strategic vision, leadership capabilities, and collaborative approach. We are excited to welcome him to the HART United family and look forward to the leadership he will bring as we continue our mission of supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.
